Shaklee 180™ - my weight loss program begins
So here I am, age 39.5 and ready to lose all this extra weight. I have always been a bigger girl, but after three kids, it is beyond acceptable. I applied to become a Shaklee 180™ blogger and I am so thrilled that I have been accepted. For the next 6 months I will be using their products (for FREE) and sharing my experience and weight loss with you. My long term goal is to eventually be a size 8. Right now, I'm a 22. I am hoping that in 6 months time I will be able to lose 40 pounds (1.5 pounds per week).
I started the new year with a resolution to count my calories for just one month. That experience has shown me how much more I was eating. I have seriously cut down my calorie intake and since January 1st I have already lost 18 pounds and moved from a 24 to a 22.
I'm doing this for so many reasons, but most of all for me. I want to feel healthy and confident. Right now I'm so ashamed of any images of me. Every time I look at a picture of the current me I think, "wow, I'm fat." I can't wait to see a picture of me and LOVE the way I look.
So today it begins.
